Message from Stuart Forrest

I got an email today from one of my old Hapkido teachers, Grandmaster Stuart Forrest. It was good to hear from him. He wrote,

"I hope you're still working out. You showed great power and potential. I also hope you're happy and thriving."

I used to take Saturday Hapkido classes with Master Forrest at the Korean Martial Arts Center in San Francisco. He was a good teacher, patient and easygoing, and highly skilled. I always enjoyed his classes.

Training going well, love working at the dojang

So I've been training hard, although last week I think I had heat stroke, between a stressful family event and then training in the extreme heat here in NYC, better now..

I was considering giving up Judo, but I'm so proud and stubborn, I went to class on Tuesday saying maybe it would be my… Continue
