I guess it's bound to happen....this week I've been on super low energy ...missed my two hr. Monday evening class which started the downward spiral, ate ice cream, slept in air conditioning, woke up in pain and sore throat.....forced myself to class Tuesday and felt better..but today I slugged around all day...

for my next belt rank I need to do a form called Chun Ji, (maybe I'm spelling it wrong) it's a ki kata, starts off sitting in lotus position and evokes a series of hand movements to earth your spirit with heaven....
Has anyone heard of this form, trying to find a video of someone doing it, not on YouTube. Maybe there's another name for it...Can anyone enlighten me???? FYI it's a beautiful form....

I just got my green belt in Hakko Denshin-Ryu Jujitsu (straight from white belt to green, bypassing yellow and orange), and a yellow belt with two stripes in Matsumura Shorin-Ryu Kenpo karate.
Ah, well. My heart belongs to Hapkido but these are both good arts and I'm learning a lot. The jujitsu is really refining and perfecting my joint locks, and the kenpo emphasizes the basics of self-defense repetitively. And of course katas over and over - but what can you do about that?
